Happy (belated) birthday to Brazilian bodybuilder Alex Villaboas!
I was so busy reviewing all the new beefcake on display in the São Paulo DVD that I forgot about the March 23rd birthday of one of the pioneers of South American muscle porn.
All of Villaboas’ DVDs where hot, but after a while I got tired of not seeing him actually fuck or get fucked. Aside from videos, Alex did a ton of magazine work. Here’s a gallery page with a few of his old magazine covers.
Alex Villaboas was the master of the strip-and-jerk and really knew how to put on a show. From what little I know about him, he also did a lot of recruitment of other body builders. He helped put MarcoStudios on the map as a Kristen Bjorn competitor and discovered fellow bodybuilder/pornstar Julio Vidal.
Where is he now? No one knows. After a short career in modeling/porn (1993-1999) he retired and fell off the map.
