Tonight @ the Hookie Awards
March 20th, 2009Tonight (Friday, March 20th) I’ll be “twittering” from the Hookie Awards (view my earlier post with details about the show.) It’s in NYC at Splash Bar. There are “red carpet” arrivals scheduled at 8pm, and the awards are supposed to run from 9:00 to 10:30pm. It should be fun! My mini-updates will appear in the Twitter panel below (you may need to reload the page to see new posts.)
UPDATE 11:40PM: Good show! Although, there was waayyy too much clothing. Hookers should be half-naked so that we can see the “merchandise.” Diesel Washington got into the spirit and took his shirt off. And even Barrett Long whipped out his award winning cock and put the head in his own mouth … for a split second.
Also, my TwitPic wasn’t working so I couldn’t post any photos. (Although, I do have one of Village Voice columnist Michael Musto’s bicycle. Yes, that old queen doesn’t drink alcohol and rides a bike to nightclubs. God bless him!)
I’ll have to work out the bugs before next Friday at the GAYVN Awards in San Francisco!
