City of Miami Seeks Eviction of CocoDorm

Unfortunate news for CocoDorm comes days after the big birthday bash for one of their biggest stars Breion Diamond in Palm Springs.
For those who are unfamiliar with this story, CocoDorm.com is a website which puts a group of college-aged black guys (and the occasional latino) into one big house wired with cameras that webcast the action.
Flavaworks, the parent company relocated to Miami a while ago, but they have not been embraced by their fellow Floridians.
I blogged about the CocoDorm controversy last year, but I never get tired of this NBC News video.

The latest update comes from an August 13th article in the Miami Herald which states that CocoDorm has filed a countersuit alleging First Amendment violations. Controversial CocoDorm and FlavaWorks owner Philp Bleicher claims that “all of this media attention to the CocoDorm has been great for the site.” Bleicher added, “Membership is way up and we’re receiving far more applications from [men] wanting to be models.”
In other FlavaWorks news, it appears they’ve returned to producing bareback videos after a nasty bit of scandal back in 2006. This time, the new line is called Raw Rods. The first volume is already on sale, and Raw Rods #2: Gansta Juice is coming soon. (UPDATE 9/10: Check out the comments section of this post for more info on Raw Rods.)

Check your facts, Raw Rods is produced by Rockafellaz Entertainment not Flava Works or Phillip Bleicher
Well I want to first let you and everyone know that does not know. I am the owner and CEO of Rockafellaz Entertainment. Which is the company that Raw Rods is produced under. I would appreciate the due respect and credit of this. Flava Work is assisting me and helping me out. But let’s get one thing straight Raw Rods belongs to Rockafellaz Entertainment, which belong to me. It’s not cool for someone else to get recognition for something that they did not create. I came up with Raw Rods because I knew it would be hot and I know what the fans look for becuase I do porn my self. I mean im in the first Rawrods and I’m clearly on the cover of the second one. Feel free to check out my blog and if you like you can join my affiliate program. But I would like recognition and credit for my work. Yes I am a black young man producing gay bareback porn. For once would it hurt to give credit where credit is due. I apprecite all the help that Flava Works have provided and I’m sure that this will set the record straight. Well, thanks for clearing that up Dan & Rock.
My posting was based on the August 17th “FlavaWorks Mailer” that I got via email. Now that I look back at it, there is a RocaFellaz logo, but no director credits where giving and the marketing materials and DVD packaging are nearly identical to FlavaWorks earlier “Raw Thugs” series.
