July 19th, 2009Pornography is a multi-billion dollar American industry, so it’s no surprise that massive losses are big news. The decline is even big enough for a report in last week’s New York Times:
“Pornographic DVD sales and rentals in the United States generated $3.62 billion in 2006 but had fallen as much as 50 percent since then”
However, porn is alive and well on the web … not just as a way to download movies and avoid your local adult video store (I can’t say that I miss the smell of bleach mopped floors), but web porn offers other cool stuff … like interactivity!
