Released over seven years ago in 1996, Learning Latin might be considered a “neo-classic.” Whatever you label it, it was (and still is) hot!

One could argue some of director Enriquez Cruz’s other videos might be more deserving of the crown. Off Da Hook (1998) was more innovative in terms of visual form and storytelling and Aprendé (2000) had hotter sex. But, Learning Latin was a groundbreaking video in many ways, and re-defined the genre of the urban latino.

A quick-and-easy definition, of gay “urban latino” porn is adult entertainment set in the various boroughs of New York City featuring young Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and African Americans. Before Cruz and his LaMancha studio exploded on to the scene, gay urban latino porn was defined and dominated by Latino Fan Club.
