Bareback porn star: Ricky Balboa Carlos Morales

For quite a while now, one of my personal favorite porn legends, Carlos Morales, has been doing bareback porn under the psuedonym “Ricky Balboa.” It was quite silly because it wasn’t like he was wearing a disguise, or the footage was being digitally blurred to obscure his identity.
I guess his deal with SX Video (for whom Morales performed in three videos) specified that neither his name nor photos of his face should ever appear on the box covers or promotional stills. The really weird thing was reading online DVD reviews from writers (who wouldn’t know Carlos Morales’ trademark smooth ass from a hole in the ground) crediting scenes to “Ricky Balboa.”
Anyway, last week SX Video and Carlos Morales made it official … he is, and will continute to be a bareback porn star. Carlos announced it himself on his website carlos-morales.com back in May 2006. In fact, he has just added a fourth title to his list of credits for the condom-free studio.

I’ve seen (and enjoyed) L.A. Lovers and Wood Workers about a year ago. Both are awesome! Although, the sex appeal of his mainstream-porn co-stars is hard to beat. (See my review of Carlos in Raging Stallion Studio’s Passport to Paradise.)
I can’t wait to see the new stuff Carlos is shooting with SX. Although, the photos that accompanied the press release of him with Jeff Palmer looked a bit skanky, I still really like Carlos and wish him all the best.
