If you love Latinos with a little (or a lot) of Black thrown into the ethnic mix, chances are you’ve seen at least one of the two dozen videos from the Capoeira series of DVDs.

This line of DVDs from Brazil celebrates beleza negro & mulato by featuring some of the hottest dark-skinned men of Latin America. (The word “capoeira” is a Brazilian Portuguese word for a form of dance/martial art that is wildly popular in Brazil and was developed by African slaves.)

I became an early fan for obvious reasons (i.e. good looking men having sex) but really liked the natural outdoor settings and absence of “ghetto” storylines about inner city drug dealers and hustlers.

Oh, and the fact the most of the guys were versatile and loved to fuck as much as they loved to get fucked was a big plus!

However, somewhere along the line, the Capoeira series went downhill. Too many familiar faces. Too many not-so-attractive faces. And no real reason to spend money on yet another edition from the Capoeira DVD series.

It’s been almost two years since The French Connection (the international distributor of the videos) has released anything from the Capoeira line, so I assumed it was dead. A final nail in the coffin appeared to be Capoeira: Brazilian Sex Ritual (2006) a DVD from All Worlds Video meant to capitalize on the “capoeira” brand. It was a great video, but had only 2 dark skinned Brazilians and not a lot of the outdoor sex that fans have grown to love.

Well now, Capoeira fans can rejoice with the news that the original series has returned with this summer’s release of Capoeira #25! Fresh faces, hot bodies, big dicks, and mind-blowing sex!

Tiger Tyson and the boys over at Pittbull Productions have partnered with TLA Video to give out free copies of
Feel This - a DVD full of promotional scenes from all of their movies. It’s worth checking out. I picked up one in an NYC store for 99 cents and it’s loaded with dozens of short clips and a full bonus scene.

On my pornstar birthday calendar, I ran across a name I haven’t heard in a looonnnggg time … Johnny Rahm! Born on June 11, 1965

Rogers was expelled from the university midway through his senior year when he chose to come out.

In the 1988, Rogers moved to California and worked for more than a decade in the gay pornography industry, often making films for Chi Chi LaRue. He won two Adult Erotic Gay Video Awards: “Best Supporting Actor” in 1993 for the film Body Search (directed by Chi Chi Larue) and in 1995 for All About Steve he also won the AVN Award for “Best Supporting Actor” for the latter film.

After April 2004, Rogers shared a house with his friend Adam Kahn in midtown Atlanta and sought financial assistance to find a home of his own.
